The add and exclude percentage commands finish a calculation and cause a complete break in the file , and they add or exclude a preset percentage click or press
V to add the preset percentage, click or press -V to exclude the preset percentage, the wording displayed for this utility can be changed to show "vat" or "tax" or
just the percent figure can be displayed , this only affects the display and doesn't affect computation at all. The vat/tax/percent rate is changeable from the configure
calculator menu. The exclude percentage calculation behaves differently from a subtract percentage calculation, for instance, starting with a figure of 100 , if you
add a percentage at 17.5% you will get 117.50 ,which is exactly the same as adding 17.5% but if you then exclude a percentage from 117.50 you will get back to
your original figure of 100 ,the original figure ,but if you subtract 17.5% from 117.50 you will get 96.94 which is 117.50 minus 17.5% . The exclude percentage
operation is an exclude "vat" operation, the add percentage operation is an add "vat" operation
