Full screen calculator templates are standard calculator files ,configured for distribution, the templates can be zipped making for easy download and importation to the calculator by the end user.
If you wish to distribute Full screen calculator files by storage device or e-mail ,although templates can be used, it is probably easier to transfer standard files via a back-up directory. See Calculator file transfers
The most recently saved file in the Full screen calculators default directory c:\wfscalc is saved as a template by activating the TEMPLATE.EXE utility, activate by double clicking, details of accessing this utility are shown below, this saves a file prefixed with a capital T in the default main directory at c:\wfscalc\tlates\, (the file number following the capital T is irrelevant). This file can now be zipped if required, preferably as a self executing file, to be placed into c:\wfscalc\tlate\ on the recieving machine, you can use PKZIP for Windows Standard Edition to do this. The file can now be uploaded to the Internet for download and access by the end user from MAIN MENU/open backed-up/transferred file or template, selecting open template when the drive box is displayed. It is important not to access the template file from the source computer before configuring for download, as this will import the file and erase the template file.
