Versatile Editing Calculator
The Full screen calculator is designed for multi directory use by topic, the default main directory is c:\wfscalc this is the active directory on first downloading the calculator
To create a new main directory select change/create main directory from the main menu options and then select the drive you wish to place the directory on, this would normally be the main hard disk c:\ , type in the name you wish to use for the new directory, this can be comprised of any characters but cannot be more than 8 characters long, and then ENTER
As the directory does not yet exist the calculator will prompt if you wish to create it, select YES
You will now be returned to the calculator with the new directory created, it is shown to the far left of the title bar
You can change back to another directory anytime by selecting the main menu option change/create main directory again and left clicking another existing directory shown in the left box
Each main directory created has it's own independent index and deleted files directory
In Windows directories are known as folders and in the above example you will have created a Windows folder called fsc1, which can be accessed if you wish via Windows explorer although care should be taken if doing so not to overwrite or delete any files.
