Text entry

The calculator will differentiate between text and figure entry while the KEYS button is set to TEXT as in the image above, if an entry is started with anything other than a figure or one of the four operators + - * / the calculator will assume text is being entered ,if a figure or operator is entered after a line of text has been started the calculator will assume the figure or operator is to be entered as text.

When the KEYS button Is set to CMND for command entry, the calculator is expecting any keyboard keystroke to enter a command instead of text, in the image above pressing T (the button equivalent is T/L) was the command to total so the calculator performed a total, to enter text while in KEYSCMND mode you need to left click the TEXT button to enter text entry mode (the equivalent key press command to do this is INSERT)

The calculator deals with text in paragraphs which can be single or multiline, the first line of each paragraph is preceded by a full stop, delete, copy and cut operate on the whole paragraph, if a single line of text within a paragraph is highlit then using delete will delete the whole paragraph and likewise for copy and cut and, when entering text you can start a new paragraph by pressing the TAB key.
You can edit a paragraph of text by highlighting a line within the paragraph and then left clicking EDIT or the input bar
