Lets begin by starting a new calculation, as this is the only calculation the running total is displayed in the blue total box in this case 10
Now left click the T/L (total) button, the total (10) is transferred to the main screen, this calculation is now complete

If we now begin another calculation the running total for the new calculation (the current calculation) is now show in the blue total box (3), the two calculations are independent of each other

Now left click the show grand total button SGT , the grand total of the two calculations in now shown purple grand total box (13), although the two calculations are still independent of each other

Now left click the total with carry button T/Lc, this again totals the calculation and transfers the total to the main screen but also begins a new calculation with the total that has been carried from the previous calculation (3) which is now the current calculation and is shown in the blue current total box, the grand total of all the calculations has also been increased by 3 , the last two calculations are now not independent of each other, any alteration to the second calculation will now change the third calculation and of course the grand total

Left click the 2 in the second calculation to highlight it and then left click +1 to add one to it, you will see that the total for the second calculation has increased to 4 and so has the carry into the third calculation and 1 has been added to the current calculation (blue box) and 2 to the grand total (purple box)

Another way to link calculations is by using variables, above we have loaded variable a with the total in the first calculation and added it to the third calculation, all three calculations are now linked so that any alteration to the first calculation will now affect the second and third calculations, the Full screen calculator instructions contain full information on using variables and all other calculators features
